International Premiums, Promotional Items Exhibition
brought the promotion sector together in Istanbul.
The fair attracted great attention of the sector.
Organized by Istanbul Trade Fairs and supported by
Promotional Products Suppliers & Distributors
Association, the fair hosted a total number of
23.023 professional visitors, 698 of which were
international on 23- 26 October.
PROMOTURK’08 Exhibition aiming at integration with
world markets by increasing the international
competitive power of Promotion Sector
representatives provided an opportunity to develop
an active dialogue between its visitors and
exhibitors. Closely followed by European, Middle and
Far East and Balkan countries, PROMOTURK was
organized at an area of 10.500 m².
PROMOTURK
hosted “hosted buyer delegations” with the
coordination of DTM (Undersecretariat for Foreign
Trade) and with the organization of Istanbul
Exporters Association Secretariat General. Countries
included in this hosted buyer program were The USA,
Germany, Austria, Azerbaijan, UAE, Belgium,
Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, The Netherlands,
The UK, Iran, Spain, Israel, Sweden, Kazakhstan,
Korea, Romania, Russia, Greece and Palestine.
New generation promotional products by the
designers in the area were on show at the fair,
which is supported by KOSGEB (Small and Medium Sized
Industry Development Association).The organization
provided the opportunity to compare products of
different price and range.
Italian
company Selacta Oro exhibited at PROMOTURK for the
first time. The company, with an experience of 30
years in promotion sector, is an important player in
the country. The promotional product range of the
company includes gold and silver jewelry, imitation
ornaments and metal accessories. The company
introduced its products to the market under Selecta
Oro, Oreficera Italiana and Maestri Orafi brands.
Nestle and Ferrero Rocher are among the customers of
the company. The second exhibitor company from Italy
was Consorzıo Adriatıc Export.
Such
promotional products as decorative items, agendas,
pencils, notebooks, copy blocks, panels, table sets,
clocks, gold and silver items, bags, leather items,
household products and textile promotion were
exhibited at PROMOTURK, where new business
connections were established.
